When You Fight, How Long Does it Last?

There's a difference between one week and one day

Four things in this email, a new podcast, a new class, a funny reel, but first, a quick poll:

When you have a fight or feel disconnected from your spouse, how long does it last?

The Podcast

For the past two years, we have done a lot of fun stuff regarding marriage ministry at Bayside Church. From conferences to retreats to semester-long classes, we’ve produced a good amount of content. Some of that content can be found in FPL, Stay In Your Lane, and Fearless Families. More of the content will be released in the coming year, including Marriage Mentoring: Becoming Friends, Partners & Lovers, as well as Designing the Marriage You Want: a premarital guide to lasting love.

But many have requested an outlet in audio (and video) form, which they can listen to while working out or on their drive to work. So today, we are launching Change The Odds: The Podcast.

Along with my co-host Leslie Johnston, we will be covering marriage topics on a weekly basis, primarily the two of us, but also including occasional guests.

Below is the first episode. Give it a listen and a review. Let me know your thoughts and suggestions.

Online Pre-Marital Class

80% of all engagements happen between Thanksgiving and Valentine’s Day. While we have a pre-marital class starting in Sacramento on February 20, there has also been a great deal of interest for an online version.

Watch Me Get Hit in the Head

Finally, here’s a quick reel for your enjoyment. As a part of our Christmas services, Morgan and I did a little pre-service entertainment. After 13 successful stints, one of my co-workers decided to make the final appearance a little more interesting. If you ever wonder how focused I am while speaking, this should let you know.
