A Free Book and a Quick Update
For a limited time, Amazon is giving away Stay In Your Lane in the Kindle format. Sometimes, the phone app doesn’t let that purchase happen, but it’s available on your desktop. Go “purchase” a copy. Not only will you get a free book, but it will help spread the word. While you are at it, leave a quick review. Amazon rewards books with more reviews.
Current Research Project
I’ve long said that when a couple says, “I do,” what they often know the least about is the “I.” For the past few months, I’ve been working on a project to determine the best way for couples to understand themselves and each other.

This raises the question, which personality overview have you found the most helpful? Answer below.

On The Podcast This Week
This week at Change the Odds the Podcast, I’m talking about 5 Ways to Stay Happily Married During the Holidays. Without intention, the happiest time of the year can do damage on your closest relationships. Stress is high, expenses are up, expectations are through the roof, and life is busy. In last week’s poll, people said their biggest stressor was all the demands of the places we have to be. It’s easy to allow this pressure to come out on our spouse.
Yet, with some intention, what drives others apart can drive us together. Just a little forethought can create the time, space, and consideration needed to make us feel more connected with those we love the most. Give the episode a listen (Apple or Spotify).
It’s always good to remind yourself a few things about money near the holiday season and the end of the year. Watch this clip from the study video for Becoming Friends, Partners & Lovers. This will make for a great study in January if you want to start 2025 off on the right foot.
